5. Counselling Details: B.Sc Operation Theatre and Anesthesia Technology

Counselling is available for B.Sc Operation Theatre and Anesthesia Technology Course in Tamilnadu.
This counselling is only for getting Admission in Government Colleges, Yes. There is no counselling for Self Finance Colleges currently.
5.1 When Counselling Starts?
Counselling for Tamilnadu Government Colleges starts in the months of August and September of every year.
Paramedical Counselling comprises these allied health science courses too. So, you have to apply for that paramedical counselling and then select B.Sc Operation Theatre and Anesthesia Technology.
5.2 Counselling Procedure
[2020 Update] Due to Covid-19 Situation the counselling will be conduct through online.
You have to fill the application form which released by Government on their Official Website and send it to them with relevant certificate copies by post (Which Includes fee, this differs by castes)

It is a completely offline process, you have to go directly to Counselling Place (Chennai) after releasing of merit list & Date Announcement of Counselling and there you have to select the course.

5.3 Cutoff Needed
The Cut Off fall in into range of more than of 160-163 If you had this cut off you have more chances to get a Government College Seat.
If you had less than this range - No Worries. This range varies very often either increasing or decreasing. Give a Try. I hope you could also get a seat.
5.4 Number of Seats in Colleges
The seats allocated for B.Sc Operation Theatre and Anesthesia Technology is only 20 Per College. This applies to other Allied Health Science Courses too.
"The seat count will increase according to students interest on admission ", said by Tamilnadu M.G.R University.
So, we can expect more likely the seats will increase from 2020. Because of many students interested in Allied Health Science Courses.
