The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) was introduced to establish a centre of excellence in medical education, training, medical research, advanced medical technologies etc.,
There are many AIIMS colleges in India. The headquarters of AIIMS is situated at New Delhi. Currently there are 26 AIIMS colleges in India, which are located at different states.
Some colleges are yet to be functional, they are under construction.

AIIMS PARAMEDICAL 2025 ADMISSION: REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants must have passed class 12 from a recognized institution

Life of an AIIMS Student
Greetings, I am Ashik from AIIMS. I have completed my bachelors degree and would liketo share some insights regarding student life at AIIMS. Firstly, the college infrastructure isgood. The hostel accommodations and the quality of food provided by the institution aresatisfactory. The faculty members are notably approachable and supportive. As students,we are required to maintain a minimum attendance of 80% to qualify for the semesterexaminations.Weekly assessments are conducted for each subject. For those wishing to study, thestudent library offers a wide selection of books.Cultural programs are organized annually, and students with an interest are encouraged toparticipate. For sports activities, we have access to a shared playground, as there is noseparate playground for paramedical students.Laboratories are available for us to explore various specimens. While some institutionsfollows strict uniform policy, other institutions do not have a dress code; however, studentsare expected to wear formal attire and shoes.Additionally, we have clinical postings, during which we are required to wear coats or scrubs. These postings provide us valuable learning experiences.
